And how did Ellis go?'"
He went well, very decent in defense and a nice kick, not on long though..
Conditions were bad today, my lad played earlier today 17s and said it was probably the worst conditions he has played in for several years, very cold.
Ganson was a kn0b as usual, we played ok nothing fancy but did a job, some positives and still some work to do, I think we will improve as the weather does if I am honest.

Waether doesnt seem to be affecting Rovers though does it.
They scored 36 points at home against a side previously averaging 45 points against, we scored 14 against a team previously averaging 18 conceded. Looks to me like the conditions had a similar affect keeping the score down in both games.

That was the right call for me, don't think it was as accidental as O'Meley tried to make it look. He braced himself to make sure he cleaned Southern out, correctly a penalty but no more.

Rovers certainly got the better coach, it's what happens when you apoint another number 2, once a 2, always a number 2! Brings back memories to our appointment 4 seasons ago!!
A game of 2 number 2's
Quite frankly mate, this post is laughable and you've proved you have no idea what you're on about. Sandercock was an assistant aswel you fool!

Overall I don't think he was too bad today. A few forward passes by them missed in the first time and disagreed with the handover call on Whiting, played at IMO. Other than that he was pretty consistent. A lot of the crowd were unhappy with Moa being put on report, but I think he did that because of complaints from Wakey players, and that that was also why he consulted the linesman. Certainly didn't seem to take any action at the time so I don't think he saw anything wrong with it and didn't penalise us so I don't see the problem with his actions.

If McKinnon hadn't invited them back into the game I doubt they would have TBH. We were cruising until then.

| Listening to Gentle on Rh after the game its clear that he still isn't happy with our performances, and rightly so. He said our kicking game was "ok", the team still aren't where he wants us to be and we are still way off where he sees we can be at.
To me, the team aren't clicking yet and combining quite how they could be, but I aren't under any illusions this is going to come quickly.

Oh ffs, please mate just give it a rest for tonight. You haven't seen an improvement?
You don't see that we're throwing the ball about more?
Set plays from the scrums?
Defence is alot better working for each other?
Did you expect us to be like Wire 4 games into the season? We have a new squad and three new coaches pal. Jesus!

Plenty of work stiill to be done, to kill teams off and sort out our discipline, we must be the thickest team in the league 14 points up, ten minutes to go and we start playing dumb rugby.
Better than last season against wakey though.'"
Agreed. If McKinnon didn't do that we'd be looking at a 20-0 win now instead IMO.

Yes, in several areas. There's still room for plenty more, that's all.

| Quote: The Bomber IS Back "Ah the discipline "word" again, truth to that is under every single manager, hull have always had crap discipline, it seems to be no matter what we do, new players, manager, coaches etc, it's the same boring one man up rugby league, same old negative approach, same mistakes, ill-discipline.
It was f***ing snowing at times today, what do you expect, champagne rugby?! If we're playing the same stuff on a sunny day in June you might have a point.
