James Rule didnt goto to Longy and tell him to sell a substance to Gleeson from his 'iffy' fathers shop......

JR didn't tell thicko Gleeson "DON'T READ THE INGREDIENTS LIST" which is YOUR DUTY to do to see if banned sustances are contained.

It's ALL well and good with HINDSIGHT to say and take the view "I really shouldn't of done it that way".

I for one applaud JR in trying (yes, incorrectly using hindsight and maybe with others involved) to PROTECT our club and players.

Get OFF your HIGH HORSES everyone and see that JR is far from the SINGLE bad apple in this case.

I understand why he might [iwant[/i to take legal action. And I understand that he may [ibelieve[/i that he has documentary evidence that would strengthen his case. But we're talking about someone who didn't understand how the anti-doping regulations worked here.

And today's story says more about his need for cash than the strength or likelihood of any possible legal action.

No one is suggesting Rule is the only guilty party but to suggest he should be thanked is laughable at best.

The fact the club had 10k on the table to fund appeals etc, what a scandal, who sanctioned this?
