| At a guess, he's trying to move people out of the south stand to fill the east and also to give him some room in south for cheap deals for some games

| What were people actually expecting? We are not a huddersfield or bradford and have to offer a £100 pass just to try and break even, we already have 10k pass holders despite the garbage that's been served up recently. In reality it was only ever going to be a small saving, this coupled with Sunday rugby, unreserved seating in east stand, new coach and a better squad isn't reason to start moaning. Be thankful of all the recent change and look forward to a promising 2012.

£230 last year... £225 this year minus voucher exchange!! I just hope 'walk up' price don't change otherwise this cannot be justified!!

I was expecting them to stay the same until pearson announced I would be pleasantly surprised by pass prices

| Quote: Staffs FC "Thanks for that mate.
This changes things for me. My pass, and particularly my lad's pass, has just potentially become more expensive than last year.
Because of the 130 mile journey I can't always get the lad out of school on Friday in time to get up to Hull. The voucher exchange was useful in that the games he didn't attend allowed his sister to attend others at another time. I didn't miss a game last year but previously it has allowed the Mrs to attend on my missed vouchers too.
I see removing this option and virtually holding last year's price as a major reduction in benefit and effectively a price hike. Totally unimpressed.'"
Good job we're playing on Sunday's then
I'm happy, personally. I'll be watching a Hull side that should be more competative for a few quid less (albeit literally a few quid less).

Except for the Friday night Sky games. Looking at it more generally the voucher exchange scheme was a good way to get folk who don't normally go into games and have a look. Not so now.

| I am a bit underwhelmed too, in fact a lot underwhelmed, I guess I have been reading all those in the know on here talking about £50 pass reductions etc etc. Where did Pearson say big reductions, does anyone know I know he said 'pleasantly surpirised' and 'reductions in season tickets' in his interview with Clarkey, but I don't know where the big reduction bit comes from can anyone put me right?
As for the voucher exchange well thats a blow to a lot of folks I know and I have used it a time or two myself but I guess they don't have it at City so that could be behind the thinking. I bet pearson saw that wonderful gate against WArrington and then saw the takings and fainted!!!

| Very surprised with AP on this one?
The spin suggested a large drop in the cost of a pass, I don't think anyone was expecting it but a few months ago our expectations were changed especially by other clubs slashing the prices so much around the same time. This must have had a negative effect of public opinion, and to then remove the voucher scheme the pass will have less value.
If the spin had been the exciting new times, additional investment and we will maintain the cost of a pass, out expectations would have been different and todays announcement would have been a bonus.

i was talking about un reserved area, which ive always had till last year with all been reserved! only 5er off seems harsh but the proper reserved seating always cost bit more! still a reduction though and i'll be buying a pass with a lot more confidence and optimism than recent years!

| Very disappointed with the voucher exchange issue. Prices are fine, same as last season for me. Not sure if the pass is now viable as I may miss a few games so gonna have to think about it now.

| Although most people posting so far appear to be unhappy at saving between £5 and £25 I would like to add my 2p by saying I am very happy at saving £25 on my pass for East unreserved next year. I've neer used the voucher scheme so that doesn't affect me but I'm confused as to why it was removed as it obviously proved popular.
I'm surprised nothing has been said about drinkies in seats as I would have liked it to be re-instated. You can't have everything I guess.
Now Pearson needs to reduce the price on the gate as £23 is extortinate! This is rugby not fooseball

If he does that then he devalues the season passes.

Doubt it will come down. If you divide the cost of a reserved seat pass post Jan 2012 by 13 games it's about £22.30 a match
