Nice selective reading, Fitzgibbon is the defensive leader and Obst also talks and defends pretty well. Long hasn't even played since good friday so why bring him into it. |

Big indicator of attitude and 26 against says much I think. It's a knockout and only the result counts so move on and get some players back. Not a full shift put in by the team in my opinion but that's as far as I'll go not being there. |

Longy is actually very good defensively and leads the line well, I have to admit it is an area of his game I was not familiar with but I am impressed with. |

As I said it was pretty comfortable for most of the match and the score reflected it. It was only a fair bit of loose play that allowed widnes to score that many points. Nothing too much to worry about really.
