So Agar going would give us a chance? What if we could not get Noble what then? We could probably not get an overseas coach until after the season finished due to contracts etc so we would probably be left with Webbo/Lasty.
I never said fans would be pleased or happy but most are saying we have no chance of the top 8 so 8th would be welcome surely? If we finish 8th and don't win a playoff game then IMO that should be Agar gone. |

Me too but it's ridiculous to suggest that anyone we did approach to replace him would turn us down because the fans had a protest against Agar. It's too silly to even class as scaremongering. |

Ah right so it's not their pinnacle then. It's understandable that you got your words mixed up, I mean you do work with Rich Agar after all.
You're wrong that it's in those team's remit aswell though, do you really think the coaches of Leeds, Saints, Wigan and Warrington are told just to get the boys anywhere in the 8 and have a dig from there?
Also if knockout footy is such a great leveller then isn't it odd that the best teams from the league season almost invariably get to the final?

Other coaches are available...very available. If due to circumstances we are not able to appoint any-one straight away Lasty does not do a bad job in the 20s so I suppose for a few weeks he could do a job, at least he knows how to interchange players! |

I am sure that should there be a vacency @ the club for a head coach, there would be a good response for the position [& not just the 'usual supsects' & 'no hopers']. There could well be a surprise or two in the applicants [should there be a vacency]. |

maybe because they finish top three which is a hint of sorts that they are playing better than others ??
all teams first job is to reach the play offs end of story mate!! the higher the better for obvious reasons but the play offs is the goal.. |
