I won't judge him just yet, he might have just a bad game.

| According to the Leeds forum they are missing Peacock, Bailey and Cross tonight. We really need to hammer them in the forwards tonight, no excuses for not doing so IMO.

Yup. Cross is unwell. Seeing how he is this afternoon.
We're seriously understrength in the forwards. Lauitiiti is out too.
Leuluai is fit, but I think with no JP, Bailey, or Cross we're down to our 4th choice starting prop, which leaves our bench even lighter still!!!

i'm quite confident tbh about tonight, simply because there will be a massive improvement on last weekend, hopefully obst can come in alongside longy, and leeds have several players missing, mainly in their forwards.if we rotate our forwards in the right way,we should be walking all over them, but i suppose time will tell, and Sinfield and Burrow, can be relied upon to do some major damage.

| If Cross is out, that's a massive loss for them considering Peacock and Lauititi missing. Having said that our pack was well on top against rovers and look what happened.
It's also only 4 days since the rovers game whereafter we never perform well. Ditto them regarding the turnaround but our immediate post HKR results are shocking.
The last few games between these sides have shown one masive difference - pace. Add that to the organisation of Sinfield - theyve been too hot for us.
Obviously our coach will know this all too well and have a plan to stifle them!

Exactly how I would assess the situation too.
IF (Huge IF!) we win, it will be down to Sinfield, Burrow or Webb putting in a one-man-show (or 2 or 3). If your forwards get it right, and Long & Obst have the time and space, we're hammered.

I would start with Manu on the bench to give us more impact with our rotation. I think this would prevent the dip we had last week. Obst to play the last 10-15 minutes in each half.

Our boys are going to have to be seriously up for it to compete!
Best of luck. Let's hope it's a cracker and we both survive with a team to field next week!

If we lose a forward, we've had it for next week. Although (without Jinxing it!!) we've got Quins at Headingley and Cross is only ill (not injured), Lauitiiti has cut his lip or something equally not particularly serious, and Bailey is nearly back. Fingers crossed!
Bookies have us by 6 which is probably JUST about right but only based on previous years I'd suggest. Looking forward to this!!
