Was broadcast the day before or day of Be Here Nows release.
Noel did a beautiful solo acoustic version of Don't look back in anger in Argentina (I think) a few years back, its on that popular internet broadcasting site.'"
That's the one, Alan White on the tambourine.

Must just be me and you on that one, vastly under rated track, the cd single of some might say was fantastic. Remember seeing the white room on C4 prob about '95 where they played acquiesce, it's good to be free and I think it was roll with it (worst oasis track ever). That was probably Oasis at their peak, Liam was absolutely fantastic then, shame he bacame a parody of himself. Noel never had the presence to be the lead singer of a rock and roll band and always got the feeling he resented Liam because he did.
Best Album ever has to be The Queen is Dead, still sounds great today.

I always thought that one was meant to be ironic, roll with it was just embarrassing, that head to head with blur's equally poor country house was almost as if they'd realised whatever they wrote would sell with enough hype.

'Clair' by Gilbert O'Sullivan. I feel dirty, and may have to kill myself.
A week earlier, and it would have been Lieutenant Pigeon with 'Mouldy Old Dough'.

That explains why I didn't get it!!!! I prefer to think of those threads as "Hey, look how much I think I know / who I am supposed to know / I know more than anyone else on this forum, but don't really as none of the suggested names have actually signed" Or put another way, Bovine excrement

I never realised that Fleetwood Mac once released an album called "Agar Out". You learn something new every day.
Birthday single for me: Climb every mountain by Burley Chassis (Sept 61). Pity it wasn't Goldfinger or Diamonds are Forever which are fairly iconic. Cracking voice though. John Barry, composer of many Bond theme tunes, died yesterday. One of the great film composers amongst other things.
