You are missing what I'm saying. I have no gripe over a £10 charge per direct debit, it's the fact they are charging per pass, not DD that I disagree with. It will cost no more to set up a DD for 4 passes than it will for 1 so why charge per pass? It's greed, pure and simple.

P.S. I have already withdrawn the money for our 4 passes from my bank so I don't have to pay any fees, doesn't mean I agree with them though.

Same here, which will be a repeat of a year ago for me.

We will take the money out of the account and pay cash..Do not normally like to carry £500 about but they are not getting an extra £6 out of me

We will use the card in the shop when we buy 3 shirts etc, no extra charges there

The thing I don't really get about people not renewing is the argument that they'll get a better deal going away. A pass works out cheaper per game than going away but also our home form was pretty impressive this year IMO. Apart from the stuffing by Wigan, we lost bravely to Warrington, narrowly to Leeds with 12 men and won all our other games IIRC, including some cracking games v Saints and Rovers, a last gasp win v Crusaders and some decent scores against Cas and Salford (as you'd expect). Given it works out cheaper to go home than away with a pass, not sure why the appetite is greater for away games as our away form has been poorer than home this season by some margin.

Got to agree with you there Mrs B...our home form was very good, although people complain about our style of rugby they appear to have forgotten some of the games you mentioned which were very entertaining imo.

I'll renew anyway, but am guessing we will not be breaking anymore records.
The main thing that vexes me is the £2 charge if you want to use your debit card. What a joke. Will they even accept cheques, if they don't, methinks it's argument time!

The charge is probably levied by the SMC. Let's say Hull sell 9000 passes, that's potentially £18k cost to the club. If there is a cost associated with processing the card payments then it's not unreasonable to pay it as the fees won't be part of the pricing of the passes. I was recently charged 2 1/2% fee for booking a holiday on my credit card.

Well I'm afraid you make it wrong. City have 23 home games this season rather than the 19 they had in the premiership. £499 over 23 games is £21.70

I think it's all a rip off, after forking out and being bored for the last god knows how many seasons, I shall not be renewing . I'll pay the ridiculous walk up prices for the odd game. The board take the p£ss for me, taxing their overly loyal support.
