| If evidence were needed as to Agar's real ability to motivate a team to produce a performance when it really mattered tonight was it. He's not good enough by a long chalk. We are wasting season after season with him at the helm.

Plenty of room to spit @ the Galpharm - dirty flegger.

| Time to go for me.
Not a knee jerk reaction, I can accept losing but we went out with a whimper. Our attacking play tonight has probably been filmed as it will be the best cure for insomnia that I have seen.
At the end of the day there can't be many players left in the squad that Agar has not as head coach either signed or re-signed so the 'it's not his team' excuse cannot be wheeled out again. St Helens game at home aside he seems incapable of changing a game once we fall behind.
So although he seems a nice guy, for me it should be Mr Agar

We're spending up to the cap limit, and have done with (I heard) one exception for years. There is no more money to spend on players no matter how much cash we generate.

| 3 years of absolute nothingness (is that a word?) under him. Time for him to go, he hasn't improved as a coach by 1%.

| Coaches are defined by what they achieve at the end of each season. This is Agar's third 'end of season' and each has ended in disapointment. While there has been promise and hope, we only have to look at what has been achieved at Wigan and Warrington to see what can be achieved by a quality coach working with with quality players, and that reflects very badly on Mr Agar.
I dont think that anyone doubts that we have some high quality players at Hull FC but - what could we achieve with a good coach? I cant stop thinking that Warrington is where we could be! Make no mistake - the Wolves have overtaken us and are much more worthy claimants of 'top four' status than we are.
We're also rans.
We're mid table.
We're underachieving. Massively.
What are we going to do about it?

Well St Helens didn't have a problem in appointing an Australian No.2 in Royce Simmonds.

But we do seem to scrimp on the coach, which is surely the most important area to spend money in?

This has been admitted and the club is in the process of changing it's pay policy as a result.
There have been years of mismanagement of recruitment and retention. With the best will in the world it's not going to be fixed in one season.

You'll get no argument from me there.

Going by what we've done in previous years, continue to buy passes and shirts in record numbers.
Seriously, I agree with everything you say. For all people say we've been crying out for a scrum half, we've got one now but he's got no runners to work with.
