I'd rather have Dowes(who I don't rate either). He has played in that position all his career and can do the same kind of job for longer periods of time. I haven't got a clue what any player earns and I suspect that the majority on here don't either. I just think this signing says that we, as a club, not only accept mediocrity but celebrate it. |

Good point but with all the grief id has had today for a silly joke, even I would think ah feck it.... I was in on what he planned, yeah maybe childish but was only to prove a point, and all the ppl that had it in for him jumped on it!!! That to me was slightly childish bud but my opinion..so he has become defensive..like we all would.. hasn't caused any harm Haha unless ppl feel things like that actually mean anything.. worse things happen.. yes... normal service resumes Haha |

Look, not being funny here, but is all this really necessary? I don't give a badger's bollock whether you want to post wind-ups and obsess about whether or not the media follow it up, but a large proportion of your posts are now nothing more than thread diversionary/pollutant or inflammatory to other posters. You've said you want everyone to move on as it was just a joke, maybe you could help that along by ceasing to post rhubarb for the sake of it. It's getting tiresome.

Like many have siad, happy he is staying, as he has had his best year for a few years, he is a better player than Dowes and I am sure the stats will prove this.
A bit disapointted that it is 2 years but would guess the club had no choice and it seems we have missed out on our primary prop targets in LMS and Fielden.
People slagging off this retrention need to have a think about this signing, at the moment we only have 2 signed props, not much available in quality out there, would you want the club to start next season with 2/3 props?

We have increased it to two years, but hav'nt matched Rover's offer or increased our financial commitment you could always afford much more than we could.

Testimonial is an RFL one not an FC one if Raford had the choice to stay with what he knows and who he knows he is going to i would. All he wanted was the two years, why did Hull not go back in for Wheeldon personally i would prefer Wheeldon to stay rather than taking Radford on, age, stamina, and risk of injury past 30 longer to recover, Hull just didn't want another FC player coming to KR and on this occasion i would like to thank Mr Rule.........
