Way back when we were having troubles, didn’t one or more of the KR directors at the time publicly state, not only would they not support any idea’s to keep FC in business, but they’d do everything to make sure we went out of business??

Whether that be true or not, I’d not personally wish it on them, nor any other business at this time of economic doubt. It’s not just the gloating to the fans, remember there are people’s jobs on the line at the end of the day.

Think we should be bigger than any director and true fan of KR who wished us ill when we were in trouble. Remember that 90% of the so called Rovers fans that are around now are bandwagoner’s who’ve jumped on-board and switched their support only when the Dobbins started to do well.

I’d personally like to see them stay in business and come and fill our lovely stadium and line the clubs pockets. Don’t mind taking money off em at all.

BUT I’d not stick my hand in my pocket to get them out of any troubles. I’ve done it for a few clubs over the years and would do it for Wakey should the news of their troubles be so bad. I could just never bring myself to pay to save them tho, it just goes against everything to what being an FC fan means

If both clubs are doing well it is good for the city, good for SL and makes the Deby games something to paly for for real!!

But in all seriousness having rovers in the super league is good for the city and i wouldnt like to see them go under but having said that i wouldnt put my hand in my pocket if they was.

Quite happy for their to be TWO clubs in Hull, with us as the senior club and the other as a feeder team.

It is no coincidence that apart from a few year in the 1980s only one of the 2 clubs has done well at any one time.

That's because the city ain't big enough and does not have enough local talent to support 2 clubs. FACT.

So as soon as that other team return to their rightful place (ie well below us), then the happier I will be.

And here comes the office tea-boy.

Certainly pretty common in East Hull. Regular occurrence in fact.

I enjoy having Rovers in SL and it actually adds to my enjoyment of being an FC fan. The only real benefit of Rovers going out of existence would be that the numpty Rovers fans (many of whom have posted on this thread) who are obsessed with everything FC would also go out of existence.
