HOW on earth do you get NILLED at Wembley ?
When your coach isn't a winner at heart and Gentle is not a winner at heart .
We were a pub team
I coached for a long time and we won 95% of games because winning is a mental state driven by a desire to CRUSH an opposition. Did FC look as though they wanted to Crush Wigan and strangle them until they screamed ? NO
RL is a tough tough game and Maylord She-dong you have no clue
In fact don't ever ever reply to any of my posts again:37721.jpg |

Im no longer at school plonker. I meant other than St Helens in terms of clubs. If Wigan had offered him a contract he would have gone to them seeing that he lives about 5 minutes from their ground.

Speaking to several Saints fans after the game and they pretty much said the same as I have posted, Long wasn't wanted and it was a way of letting him go with some dignity after his years of service.
Call it daft if you want.

Why isn't he at Wigan then? Surely if they had he would have gone seeing as he lives about 5 minutes from their ground.

Maybe because Saints know it is not feasible to keep an injury prone 32 year old scrum half on their books who is past it, when they have young players such as Kyle Eastmond ready to fill his boots. A young player like him you could only dream of.

maybe he had a chat with cooke about the merits of leaving to join your fiercest rivals, or maybe it's because they binned him as a youngster, or maybe becaust he thinks noble is a tw@

How odd. Fans writing off a player who's leaving the club - who'd a thunk it?

Both Saints and Wigan offered him a contract and at Wigan he would have earned more money. Also Sainst offer Cuuningham a one year contract nowadays the same as they were doing with Long so does that mean they want rid of Cunningham?
You're just being daft.

Wigan offered him a 2year deal, more money and sent Martin Gleeson round to his house to try and convince him, and although he hadnt put pen to paper at that point, he had verbally agreed to sign and he honoured that
