'when my life is over, the thing which will have given me greatest pride is that I was first to plunge into the sea, swimming freely underwater without any connection to the terrestrial world' Yves Le Prieur, the real inventor of the aqualung:

Quote: Hull Panther "I agree that you would shade the scrum half....ony because we dont have one at the club!!!! We have the best stand off...by a county mile!!!! I disagree with you about the pack....we have a front row of Cussack, berro & dowes that can all play 80-mins rugby & very well..Tickle is the inform second row of the league.... Your centres are more pacey & see hell of a lot more ball than us....that;s mainly down to Dobson.

All stems for a good tight game of rugby.....here's to the ONLY DERBY in Rugby League!!!!!!!'"

Which stand off are you comparing yours to, I'Anson will NOT start the derby.

No, you were merely staing a matter of opinion and yes I expect Paul Cooke to be at 6 for the derby.

I'd like to say that is the usual case, but this is a derby icon_lol.gif

Its unlikely to be a classic, but its certainly been a while since we were entering a derby with both clubs in the top 6, long may it continue.

Quote: B0NES "We need someone who can lead us around the field and take control of games. Again we looked clueless and void of any idea's ummm last season !. One man Rugby again and Thorman isn't good enough .
If the Crocker deal falls through ,Then the money is needed in this position.'"

Which no.7 would people sign then?

No decent ones around which is why Agar went for a one year deal with Thorman.

Hardly Thorman's fault that the forwards are not doing the job for him, against Bradford he was fantastic.

I agree with you Paul, i do believe that we have a top quality 7 lined up for next year and Thorman was the best around who was available to come on a one year deal, lets hopwe we do sign a top 7 for next season.

Have to agree Paul, I've been saying we needed a 7 since we left the Boulevard and we haven't gone for anyone, not Agar's fault.

I am sure we will move for a 7 if one becomes available.

"You don't have to be great to start, but to be great you have to start".:Black Backgrounds/Statler.gif

A top scrum half would be brilliant, but what would be just as nice is more players making runs into gaps, even if it's dummy runners.
Most of our players just watch what Thorman and Horne are doing and just wait for the ball to be passed to them. Why not give them options and run decent lines. Instead of our two set plays.....

Drop off and run back into the sqaure markers or Horney use Tickle as a dummy runner and pass it behind him to his centre. Or if we are been a little cheeky, Tickle as a dummy runner but give it to him on the short!
