OLD FAITHFUL [/size:1381yqo4]: |
|
| Thought he did well considering he's only been in the country for a few days.
The early signs look promising and i think he could become a real fans favourite.
To us REAL fans, there's no better feeling than winning competitions. Getting to a final is next. Then a top 6 finish or semi-final appearance. Then I suppose the derby counts as the most important league fixture.
Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else.
Quite sad, really! [/quote:1juz9zgo]

Who was the last quality international you signed
Mind you ive forgot you can have the luxury of having the Wales captain and only play him in the reserves

| Very impressive for his first game
He looked for work made great yards with the ball and put some big hits in.. The way our Forwards are playing King will struggle to get back in

| Quote: the artist "the encouraging thing for me is how well the forwards are playing at the moment. dowes and cusack are both in great form, and berrigan is leading them around the park - didnt get much chance to do this last year.
add to that the fact we have at least one class player to come in then things are looking good to say the least
agree about kingy too - think his time with us may be drawing to a close'"
Can't wait for the hard ground to see how Dowes plays. He is having a belting season so far - he appears faster, more agile and more powerful and he is still putting long stints in. I agree about Cusack as well - he is playing soooo well. Dowes is the one to watch for me though - there were times when he was carrying the ball that I thought we had Carvell back. Let's hope he doesn't pick up the same injuries as Carvell.
I just hope that this spurs Kingy on to bigger and better things as well. Sharp knows what it is to be a Hull faithful player and I think will help to get the best out of him.

| Oh and back on topic, I thought Moa looked like a good "project". Carried the ball well (one error) tackled okay and looked for work. He'll make a good second rower running out wide when we get our other prop back

| I think he'll make us great yards, always looked a handfull when carrying the ball, considering how long he's been in the country and how many times he's trained with the lads can only get better, so on that showing it looks highly promising.

| Was a decent enough 1st outing given the circumstances. His attitude seems to be right so hoefully he'll get fit, learn the systems and be a decent squad member. He isn't a feka though

| I thought he did all he was asked to do. Given the amount of time in the country and with the team, I was pleased with his contribution.

| I was loving his reaction at the end when we started chanting his name, he couldn't believe it. He's a fans favourite already.
He draws in the defence just like that big Feka at Wigan and looks for work.
