| Very disappointed. But he's only one player, if he can move on so can we.

Cups and grand finals would be my guess, Warrington are having a bit of a blip year but they're still classed as a top 4 side with 2 GF's in 3 years and I would have thought his chances of international recognition would be higher playing for Wire.
Can imagine they've offered him a pay rise as well.

| Very disappointing but it looks like it's been on the cards for some time. Wingers are not irreplaceable but it's sad when a good young player wants to leave.
An official statement from the club would be appropriate.

In a decent side he's a 20+ try a season player and there aren't many of those about. With him and paea going we're losing 2 of our top players so have to replace them effectively just to stand still.
Worrying thing for me is why does a player see signing for warrington as a better option than staying at Hull?'"
This is the question. As stated on the other thread, one dream team pairing loss is unfortunate, two means questions must be asked.
Very disappointed at this news.

Bang on the money, if you want to win things, Warrington as it stands are still ahead of Hull.

| Anyone checked to make sure AP is still alive?
He did say players would be sold over his dead body.
Maybe we are skint afterall. Wire look like they got a bargain at £125k, they feel it should be much higher.
Very sad to let another player walkout of the club, we either drop him for the season or play him at prop all season now

| Wasn't it said when McRae was here that he offered Lineham a new contract & Radford told Tom to snap his hands off for the money offered? If so should free up a decent amount of the cap as well as the fee involved.

| Warrington are losing Monaghan who scores a try+ per game. Big boots to fill and doesn't equal a net gain for them IMO.
Sad to see him leave, but if he wants to go then we need to do the best deal for us. Like Briscoe, he's not a Hull lad, so not surprising he may find it easier to leave.
With Lancaster & Naughton there's adequate cover.

| Well at least we'll know which side to attack when we play Warrington.

Joel Monaghan wont have come cheap, so Lineham will be offered more
salary than he was on at Hull, I assume.

| My concern is a lot of quality is leaving the club in Rankin, Paea and Lineham and so far we have no announcement as to who are replacing them. It reminds of when Manu and Briscoe and Moa went but the replacements were not even close to the quality we lost.

Probably does, but I reckon the club will be pretty pro-active now, after the marquee rule been approved. Can see a couple of big signings, so I'm not worried yet!
