hahahaha. His stats suggest otherwise. My eyes suggest otherwise. 99per cent of fans think otherwise.

Our league position suggests otherwise, best of bad bunch, I agree , hulls best player, but no way would make the best 13 in super league, which is what this threads about

| Surprised me no one has gone for shaul at fb, escare is ok but your lad has done well in a team under performing. Hardaker is a better player atm but not been better so far this year.
burns has been the best 6 in the league this year imo

Its about the individual. Not how the team performs.
dont get it when people say about players being only stand outs in poor teams. Its harder too a lot of the time. Its easier for average players to stand out in good teams in a lot of cases. Danny ward being the best example. Played for GB whilst at leeds. Left leeds n fizzled in to obscurity via cas london and the robins.
westy no matter what the teams been like is still a league leader or there abouts in every key stat.
By your logic I'd have to say paul gallon is tripe!

By your logic, Matt Cook at London would be running him close!! I'm not slating westerman, he was outstanding first few rounds, In my opinion , pretty average since. Paull Gallen as only played 7 games for cronulla this year, making over a 1000 meters and scoring 2 tries! oh and a couple of origin games!

There hasn't been a more consistent loose forward than Westerman so far this season.
O'Loughlin, on his day, would be a shoe in but he only seems to play the 'big' games this season.

Shaul, like most full backs, needs to do some serious work on his defence.
Great in attack but weak in defence.
Would have Escare as the more consistent player this season and Hardaker slightly ahead of him as well.
Matty Bowen has had his moments also.

As you say there are very few decent fb defenders in our league, hardaker being the exception. Bowen seems very inconsistent.

Hardaker's defence probably comes from him being a centre throughout his career up until the last 18 months.
One thing that has impressed me about Shaul is I can only remember him dropping one high ball all year.
