Didnt a fan design it in a contest in the HDM? Tbf i liked the badge and have got it on my phone but its not our traditional badge...awaiting JTP to come on and tell us the club are further away from fans  |

The first time of any pictures that show players with the 3 Crowns on the shirt was The Challenge Cup in 1960 on the Clubs blazer the badge was Hull on top of the 3 crowns with F C at the bottom ..

just seen an all white strip of the Yorkshire cup side of 23 October 1954 and it as just the 3 crowns on it ..and we got beat 22-14 by Halifax

It said "Real kings wear three crowns"

The book 'Old Faithful' shows a Hull team from 1881-82 in black shirts with a three crowns crest.
To answer the OP, we already have the traditional club badge, I think it looks fine.
