bad atmosphere probably due to the fact that fc's " singers" are about 14........gone are the days of the threepenny im afraid......
in my opinion, if fc play well, the atmosphere rocks, if we dont then its garbage...simples.........

A downside of a new all seater stadium IMO. Of course all the other benefits outweigh this downside, but you naturally get pockets of singing scattered round the ground as opposed to one larger area. Get yourself to Knowsley Road in that tin shed behind the sticks half an hour before kick-off and see what the FC fans can do.

Fair and constructive reply mate. I see what you mean but it's (hyperthetically speaking) maybe worth a go. There's often a "conductor" in a singing section so I don't see that as a problem and of course everyone can join in, the singing section (eg Threepenny Stand at Boulevard, old Stretford End at Old Trafford, Kop at Anfield etc) start us off.

Tell you what, I'll sit with you and we'll sing ourselves ho lol.

I was shocked into silence, I mean, there they were out there.Black and whites showing passion,a leader on the pitch AND kicks that were not driven straight to the full back.

It is easier to sing when you are stood up. Choirs are always standing when they sing, people stand for hymns in church, even Boyzone got off their stools for the key change.

I've just accepted the change in noise since our move to the KC; it's not the Boulevard and the Threrpenny is sorely missed. Old Faithful is not sung with the same passion. I know today was only a friendly but the Robins made far more noise; in fact i thought the saddest aspect was our crowd hijacking their 'father's gun' chant just for ther last line.

I thinka singing section is a good idea ( or call it an Ultra section)

I was in the south stand with my family took my little girl for the first time she loved it she was sing from start to finish the all family gave it there all but yet only then east stand started did all the rest we just need more of us to sing if u hear some one singing join in there is plenty of people on here that are in the south stand get some songs up on here

The threepenny is not missed - and that father's gun chant is moronic whoever sings it........... imho

Agreed; but not even starting it yourself and then nicking it is even worse.
