Someone on blunderside mentioned this regards hull always releasing players who come back to bite us on our ar$e when they was on about kingy going to wakey but i beg the question who has actually come back to bite us on the over the years apart from cooke, briscoe and maybe carvell.
we did right in releasing some of these players and if they come back to bite us on the ar$e then so be it. |

We didn't release Schofield - he left us of his own accord. Crooks seemed like a mistake at the time although I think we probably had the best out of him.
Vaikona was a shocking decision. Even worse was the excuse - "Not up to SL standard."

Was that the reason given ? All I remember was being told we wouldn't be disappointed with the replacements and presuming TV wanted out.

IIRC that was a (more or less) direct quote from the club when the fans questioned his move to Bradford.
I also remember the 'you won't be disappointed' spiel. |
