Rumoured we're signing jason crookes, paul johnson and joe arundel to replace manu, moa, o'meley, briscoe and turner. Looks like we'll be considerably strong next year

Johnson for O'Meley
Arundel for Turner
but not happy with Crookes for Briscoe would rather see Lineham.

think we need to see something from Briscoe, remember last year there was an article on the fc site with Danny Houghton saying rumours of him being approached by NRL clubs and leaving fc early were completely made up. Think Lineham deserves a run out soon, heard only good things about him, might happen if our injury luck continues

Wouldn't be to chuffed with that.

Why is there so much stock being held in all of the rumours all of a sudden? People seem to be accepting them as fact more than usual and I can't work out why.

There seems to be good deal more uncertainty around than usual, perhaps a reaction to that?

Because certain posters have got one or two things right in the past so now every-one thinks these people know every-thing that is happening at our club.

For me, we need to be replacing Turner/Martin (if they go) with a top class centre who our youngsters can learn from. Same with O'Meley and Moa. I don't see the point in signing other teams youngsters. We need to be producing our own, and these need to be learning from seasoned pros. They're not going to learn much from (albeit good) youngsters who should still be learning themselves (and we wonder why they don't push on with us!)

Yeah, but it's the sheer amount of rumours that are being believed. I could partly understand if it was a case of 1 or 2 rumours from a particular source being given a bit of weight, but just lately any story that's mentioned by more than 1 person seems to be being treated as a foregone conclusion.

And I wouldn't say everyone, I think there are plenty of people like me who will wait until a club announcement before believing player movements and throwing our toys out of the pram about our recruitment/retention.

Not so sure. It seems to be mainly outgoing rumours.

mark o meley,s wife has just successfully applied for and got a new job,hardly the actions of someone planning to leave the country IMO
