I'm not really inclined to engage with you as I think you're either on the wind up, biased, clueless, or all three. I'll just reply once more and put it as clearly and easy to follow as I can: So far this season, Richard Horne has done his job better than any other Hull FC player has done theirs, and more consistently. It really is as simple as that.

They're not. Your just dense and ignorant to see what's in front of you. Only someone with rocks for brains n a complete lack of R L knowledge could try make argument that Richard Horne hasn't been hull fcs best player this season.
Only way this couldn't be true is if we're all wrong on here and 1000s more around the ground are and your some kind of genius way beyond our comprehension and understanding!
I know about 5 sl players to talk to or spend time with and they all agree regarding Richard Horne. I'll go with them n their opinions over yours!

What do we ask Horne to do? Create tries, score tries, kick well, organise the team and tackle?

So this season he is creating tries, not really scoring them, kicking as well as he ever has, is doing well with the organising considering it's not his normal game and playing with different partners and his tackling is excellent.

That doesn't mean we don't need a new half to play alongside Holdsworth and it doesn't mean we will win anything or have an impact on the playoffs. However it does mean he is pretty much the heartbeat of our side and in the games we've played well in he has been a significant contributor.

Indeed, and I am far from being Horne's number one fan, but he has been solid and reliable (if not more) this season so far.

Judge him on what he does, not wether he fills a gap that we know we have.

In most of your posts, you're saying that Horne has only played so well and got all his assists on the back of our promising squad. Now he's the best of a really, really bad bunch? If our highest rated player (agreed by hull fans and neutral observers alike) isn't good enough, then we need to sack our entire squad!

You also say that pretty much any other halfback could comfortably do what Horne has this season if surrounded by such a promising team. On that premise, our squad is as good as any other team in super league???
