think some people are forgetting that the players who are to be announced have already signed not being signed! only 3 people know the identities alledgedly, pearson, gentle and mcrea! galea to me seems an extra signing on top of the ones to be announced

galea is being signed with some of the cash saved by not signing bateman/whitehead/chase and allows us to sell tickle to widnes

so why would pearson tell us the players have already been signed!? unless we were never signing bateman and whitehead until the situation at the bulls was resolved.

he said we had 7 signed, which it now transpires included pitts, watts, ellis and arundell. Add in crookes and there are only 2 we don't yet know about. He also said we were looking at a couple of others which probably included chase, holdsworth and paea at the time
