The departure of Tansey increases Hull's need for a replacement play-maker.
However when approached by the Mail yesterday Crusaders chief executive Rod Findlay again stressed long-term Hull target Jarrod Sammut is going nowhere.
He told the Mail: "Crusaders position is unaffected by Hull FC's recruitment or squad departures.
"There have been no bids from Hull FC, or any other team for Jarrod Sammut. in fact I haven't had any contact with Hull FC for a number of weeks.
"It is pure speculation and we have not intention of selling Jarrod Sammut, especially this close to the start of the new Super League season.
"Jarrod is an integral part of our plans here at the Crusaders, he is a fan favourite and Iestyn Harris has big plans for him over the next couple of years."

Either the Crusaders chief or many posters on here who claim it's a done deal are going to look stupid, he's seems adamant he's going nowhere.
I'd like to think it would happen but I really don't see what they would gain from letting him go at this stage, unless we offer a ridiculous amount of money.
