If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...: |

Berrigan and Briscoe could potentially be a top centre pairing I really hope we get the chance to see it.

Which is why we're looking for back-up HB and more pack strength, not being a major signings.
But lets think positive eh!

We dont need major signings to improve but we do need a half back or 2!
Dowes will re sign at prop and hopefully we will play Berro in the centre and a ball handler at 13 letting Fitz play prop in spells rather then flog him at 13 playing prop.
The rest is down to the coaching...

I've lost all faith in FC. Positivity after the last few years is a big ask.

I'd say we do need a major signing. I'd class a halfback as a major signing.

Would you class Blake Green for example as a major signing? Or is it because they play in a pivotal position?
With the contracts we have on board for next year we certainly aint gonna sign an international class half back.

I'd class Blake Green as a major signing yes. A halfback for me is always a major signing due to the position they play. When you look at our luck with half backs over the last few years it makes it even more of a major signing.

Was Hooker for the end of 2006 due to an injury but then stayed there throughout 2007 because he performed so well there.
He found good form at centre and now people seem to be under the illusion he isn't a good hooker.
However with the emergence of Houghton the team would be stronger with him at Centre.

It's not an illusion that he's a very average hooker.

So if we sign a player of similar stature ie a fringe NRL player on a fairly cheap deal who signs as a backup half back would you class him a major signing? (Going by Agar saying we are scouting Oz for half backs)
It may be the definition of a major signing which differs.

Stay away then . Club doesn`t need supporters like you.
Minutes away from a top 4 finish with 12 men . 6th in the table in a very competitive SL. After the last 2 seasons that is a major improvement.
Fans on both sides of Hull have gagued their "success" on one game.
Things could be better yes , but Hull FC have no God given right to be successful.
Lets face it , if the playoffs were how they should be the top 6 , Rovers would not even have qualified.
IN ANY KIND OF WEATHER .

So you expected all the problems to be solved in one off season?
A tad unrealistic possibly?
