| Radio Merseyside were very complimentary to us in their preview last night regarding our actions here. Ray French particularly. They would be pleased though wouldnt they!
Personally, I cant help but think of our 2005 run and the way Kearney (who I see as a similar profile to Pritchard) almost single handedly pulled us through a couple of those early tight games.

I'm pretending they're injured and going to miss one game. We'll have to play without them sooner or later. Just pleased Ellis is back, he seems to make the most difference when he's missing. Pleased Mini is back too. Hope they enjoy the break and come back safe and sound.

| From The Brisbane Times
Frank Pritchard makes a high tackle on Michael Oldfield and is placed on report. Great news for Hull - he's missing from a Cup tie against St Helens and now he could be suspended. 6-6

| Brutal game - on the plus side both
Manu, & Pritchard finished unscathed.

Would he be suspended for Hull, surely if he gets suspended it will be for international rugby, not his club side?

Bans from club games carry over to internationals so I don't see why the opposite wouldn't happen.

Does it, so if Pritchard got banned last week he wouldn't have been able to play today, I'm not convinced?

Yep, happened to Ben Westwood after the GF a few years ago, he missed an England warm up game.

| I thoroughly enjoyed the day out with Manu and Pritchard tangling a few times- Pritchard had the better game. He looked to be favouring his heavily strapped knee at some stages but looked ok at the end.
Both the Pacific Island games were good exciting spectacles and showed up the previous days Aus v Kiwis match which was dull and dour in comparison.
The best match for me was Junior Aus v Kiwis which showed off the outstanding talent coming through at this level.

Agree - terrific entertainment. I switched on intending to watch the junior aus/kiwi match.
Bucketing down all day here in Perth, so watched all three.
Hope Motu is having a word with the PNG halfback, - would look good in a B&W shirt

| Great Britain forward Adrian Morley was handed a £2,000 fine but no ban after his sending off against Australia in the first Ashes Test.
Sydney Roosters star Morley was dismissed after just 12 seconds of Great Britain's 22-18 defeat and the incident was referred to a three-man disciplinary panel.
John McDonald, chairman of the Queensland Rugby League and a former chairman of the International Board, wanted Morley banned for the high tackle.
But McDonald was out-voted by his colleagues, Derek Fox - the Great Britain representative - and panel chairman judge Peter Charlesworth.
Is there an International disciplinary board to deal with this? hopefully a prescedence has been set with a fine for a reckless challenge....Just a thought

| There is an international disciplinary board.
I've just remembered when Isaac Luke tried to break Rangi Chase'd leg and received a 2 game ban - he missed 2 of South's warm up games...

| If Frank gets a game off it'll be good for his knee. Ask Saints if it will make any difference.

| all in all it worked out pretty decent with the two lads going and playing (dependant on Frank not getting a ban).
They both came through unscathed, our lads in their absence mullered Saints on their own muck and the club have had some really positive press.
Hopefully Kasiano is next on Motu's radar seeing as his son is a fan
