Re TV games and the new deals, I wonder how many fans (of all clubs) will just not bother going to games any more now they will have every game to view at home, (providing no games clash), dodgy firesticks will be in bigger demand I reckon! Whilst the VR at every game is great, showing all may hit attendances, in return could affect future IMG grading.

Running with this positivity thing… alternatively, more people might see a game and think, “that looks like fun, maybe I should get to a game”. Or it could help better engage with the M62 diaspora, shaking a bit more cash out of us.

As i keep saying i am not interested in ratings for Hull FC only what happens on the field.

Its not well thought out given that its highly possible a newly promoted club on this basis will be relegated irrespective of where they finish in S/L or Leigh who are the C/C holders,finished fifth in S/L,play in a decent stadium and average 6000 crowds are classed as as a 12 rating.
Then there is Featherstone who topped the Championship by several points have a reasonable ground but are given a rating of 10.65.
I am not a fan of Featherstone but thats all wrong
If you think they are the saviour of R/L in this country then i suggest you and others on here who seem to think the same then go onto the BBC sports page for rugby League.There are over 200 comments on the IMG article from fans from all over the country mostly criticising the IMG proposal with well balanced comments

Probably the only thing left for you to do is to stop following Rugby League in the UK, I can't see any other alternative.

"the game caller" on twitter reported yesterday ticket sales are moving into 5 figures...two days before a test and ticket sales have just gone above 10k...terrible.

No doubt its down to the fact that its the usual fans of the sport that know its on and buying tickets as opposed to the RFL getting their act together and actually doing any sort of marketing campaigns to promote the series like any professional organisation would do.

The marketing/promotion of the game or should that be lack of it is really is p1s5 poor and yet the RFL, club chairman and IMG wonder why the sports in decline.
