I think that there hasn't been an answer either way, the reason I think that is the quotes coming out of the club (only McRae, I know) are very vague and talk of complications. We could just come out and say we were unable to get one, without giving reasons. I also think our back ups (Jacob Miller) agent has put pressure on the club (this would explain Millers comments to Anasta about it possibly not happening now) to make this decision.

Anyways, that's my theory.

Depends what visa Chase applied for. If its a personal one the only announcement the club should be making is that the transfer is not happening as the visa is nothing to do with the club. They could say that the visa they need hasn't come through but the lack of a proper announcement makes me wonder.

I don't think Miller will get a Tier 2 visa as the RFL's criteria won't allow them to support it (which is essential). They could give him and us "special dispensation" but why should they?

Again though, they're being vague, we could announce whether our 'London lawyers' have been successful in their work. There's ways around this.

After hearing a further interview with McRae tonight,he has indicated that we are near to full cap, and we already have Seymour,Horne,Holdsworth ,Heremaia & Nicklas to play in the halves.

He would like to resign both Aspinwall & McGoldrick, but difficult due to cap restrictions.

It's ok McRae saying that we are near full cap, but we the fans are not the ones who stated we will be bringing in 2 quality half backs! We the fans are the ones who on the back of these statements rush to buy season tickets because the discount period is brought forward a couple of month. We know that we have Seymour etc, now it's your job to offload as insinuated by AP to accommodate said 2nd halfback! Just get on with it, it's like an old episode of batman with the Riddler?

Not wanting to seem negative or out, but from what I've read about Arundel is that he's nothing special in attack. Isn't blessed with blistering pace but isn't what you would call slow. Decision making isn't the best and is more of the Yeamo mould than say Watkins.
Like I said not trying to put a downer on the kid as I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do at Hull. But if the above is true, I'm just hoping he has better 'hands' then expected.

I'd rather see Crooks play centre than Arundel. He has looked good so far, and with a bit more bulk on him and more experience he will hopefully become great.

Crooks will get plenty of game time next season but for me, Arundel has to start before Crooks.
Also would like to see Lineham get a starting spot before Crookes. Not really impressed with the Crookes signing in all honesty, I'd like to have seen us go all out for Broughton, doubt Salford could afford to say no to the money from selling him to us.

If we're near the cap with the signings announced plus mcdonnell then the squad is pretty poor value for money for me. Still lacking in quality in most positions, only 1 top class 3/4, a largely unimpressive full back and only 1 decent half back.

We're also lacking size in the forwards in my opinion.

Hope we have a couple of surprise signings in the bag or we'll not be good enough to challenge saints, leeds, wire and wigan when it really matters

How the heck we can be near full cap is beyond me unless we have a couple of surprise signings lined up maybe Fudge was not talking tripe when he quoted McDonnell wanting £130k !!Jesus surely we are not paying that kind of money for players of his caliber, decent signing yes but I have not seen anything to suggest he is worth that amount.
