I think the difference is just that this was a video referee decision whereas last year's bad call was just down to the referee, even if we got screwed over as a result of it.

It's now 1-1 in terms of game-changing calls over the past two years and they were both terrible.

it was forward last year no debate. But it cant be brought up in a video review! plus the ref is stood in front last year so couldnt make the call.

You had 2 dodgy vr decisions, it eclipses last years decision for the fact he couldn't go to the vr for a forward pass, that play he could take as long as he liked to look at and still gave it! In a state of shock
