Well, you're obviously entitled to your opinion, but I reckon that no player would risk the bother it would cause them by being unprofessional enough to let slip to a fan that they don't rate the coach. I posted something similar saying that they wouldn't slag him off to the press and you agreed. The same goes for fans - however well that fan thinks they know the player.

Thats pretty well all that can be attributed to Agar, just a real er that the areas in which he's consistent are not ones that are appropriate to being a decent coach.

And I for one and my family will not be renewing our passes next season while this man is in charge.

Agar will probably by next year be a lot more experienced as a coach and will obviously learn from his mistakes if given the chance. The salary cap is biting hard I'm afraid and if you lose key experienced personnel like Long then it is going to have a big impact on the team.
The two Hull sides are probably vying for 6,7 , 8th or even ninth position so if you get into the top eight that will be real progress.

After that depending on form and injury's anything can happen in the play offs.

Unless your in their inner circle, no disrespect, but no player worth his salt, is going to tell a fan their true thoughts on a coach, not a chance, there going to come out with the usual, "top bloke" etc etc, hardly likely to come out and say, the guys clueless, crap coach, his half time talk sends us into a coma!!
i remember talking to Andy Last about John Kear, after hearing the talk about their being unrest in the team, and he told me its all b*ll, not a bit of truth in it, they 3 days later hey-ho Kears shown the door, when i next saw Lasty, i had a joke with him, and he sadi hes hardly likely to say how it really was! and i thought he was genuine

Perhaps Agar is a nice bloke who gets on with everyone? The players may genuinely believe the hype that he's had ( essentially for being young and British ) and enjoy working with him. Unfortunately that has nothing to do with being an effective and successful coach or manager. Being pushed out of your comfort zone isn't necessarilly a pleasant thing at the time but a coach has got to do that on occasions and convince players that rewards will come from it. As a player if you're being told you're going well and not being asked for more why would you question it? Why wouldn't you support your coach? I just think it's all too cosy and familiar and it needs a complete change of people and ideas that will challenge the players we have. Cultures come from the top down. Our culture doesn't produce results. Change it.

Agar is still trying to play the game as Brian Smith did, thing is the games moved on even Bradford have at last realised this.

No a very pour coach in my opinion even in our dark days our coaches showed flashes of brilliance, Agar never has.
