Pretty much how I see it, although I think the pecking order of Lauaki and Fitzgibbon for propping duties will/should come down more to which prop it is that's missing, rather than having a set order.

Danny Tickle and Willie Manu?

Think you're looking for a bigger problem than is there on this one. How many other teams in SL have 2 really good quality forwards just waiting in the wings for injuries to get a game? Most have 1 and then fringe/younger players looking to take their chance, same as us.

Tickle, Manu, Laukai, Fitzgibbon, Washbrook, Burnett, and arguably Whiting. That's 7 players for what amounts to 4 places in the 17, how many more spares would you like us to carry?

Not forgetting Cunningham, Turner and also Berro for loose man if we're pushed.

We gave Green a full time deal recently and he is a back row also.

So if the Westerman rumours are true, then we just need to bring in maybe another 4 and we're about set.

Might be the fact the didn't want to live or commute to hull.

Also if we sign an overseas HB, then we could use Horne there.

I think we need 3 more players a prop, halfback and hooker.

I think Dowes will stay, we will sign an overseas halfback (not a known name) and hopfully we will sign Mcshane on a loan deal.

Agar maybe frustrated with tanseys error count and decided to use him as half back and hooker cover.

If Briggs is a done deal then a fb and prop would be the sensible option.

Tansey at hooker wouldn't work IMO, his defence isnt good enough.

I agree that tansey needs to improve his error rate (40 last season) if he can, which i cane see why not, then I think he will be a top class FB.

Even if we sign Briggs I would still like us to sign a young NRL halfback.

maybe the player we are looking at overseas can cover both positions,also with cover from a new fullback tansey could move into the halfs.
