| Still need creativity more from our 1, 6 and 7.
Had most of the territory, but apart from our two tries I can't a time where we looked like scoring.

| Great result especially given the game after the Easter period is notoriously difficult, well done to all the players.
Like most have said I'd like to see us looking a bit slicker in attack but that might come when (if) we manage to get a settled spine for a few games.
I'd like to see us try and utilise Connor more from high kicks, he's one if the most dangerous in the league in the air it seems to be a tactic we've moved away from this season but I'm not sure why because it was so effective.

| Solid performance from Hull tonight. Good display from Josh Reynolds, pleased for him.Houghton, Lane, Satae and Carlos particularly impressive.
Some poor last tackle options from us but generally a really pleasing win, Catalans are not the team you'd choose to play as the third game of the Easter period.

| I presume Satae getting subbed off late means Houghton failed his head assessment and will miss next week.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |
|
| Houghton went off with 10 minutes to go, so could never have got back on the field.

All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason.

We seemed more interested in trapping them on their line than creating tryscoring opportunities. Cant say it didn’t work.

I get that, but it's a free interchange for a head injury, and the guy who came on, then came off 7 mins later, so doesn't that nullify the injury replacement.... or is it just using the remaining sub?

No idea how it works, especially in the last 15 minutes of a game.
Maybe we declared the free interchange as a "normal" interchange as Houghton had to wait 15 minutes even if he passed.
Anyway, Toulouse next week, so shouldn't be an issue either way.

| I hope Mitch can cement a place in the team.
Seems to get very little praise but for me is very underrated. His defence especially is excellent
Much better centre than Griffin

But he could only have one leg and you'd still say that. We get that you don't like Griff.

| Not sure if Evans picked up a knock but I can't remember seeing him at all 2nd half?

He is just not a good centre.Poor defence,no pace, too many brain farts and gets pushed in to touch or back in our in goal too often.
Surely you can see that
Mitch is proving to be a very good centre in his limited time in the position.very good defence, not a speedster but has pace and brings the ball out of defence very strongly.

He was on for the first 20 mins of the 2nd half! Thought defensively he was excellent tonight and always attracted 2-3 defenders when he took the ball in

| Just watching the game now . I mentioned a few weeks ago that if you want to make a GF then you need to keep a team in their own half for consecutive sets and have a 80% completion rate.
In the first 20 mins we kept Dragons in their own half 5 consecutive sets !!!!!!!
We had a completion rate of 85%
We’d have likely kept Dragons in their own half for 6 sets had Jake not. are a poor judgement kicking on 3rd tackle which was basically a poor poor error of
judgement and getting to the GF requires concentration and discipline. KEEP the pressure on.
Anyways a great first 21
mins and now back to the match for me
