| I'm getting together the various contact details, even if you just copy and paste what I have written and put your name to it and email it that would maybe help us to get something done. Obviously the clubs hand are pretty much tied, it's important to show them our support.
I am sure I've seen them posted on here so I'll trawl the threads, might be a long shot as people are heading to the game, but if anyone has any email addresses that would be useful please post them here.....

Mine was similar, not as good though. This version to Martyn Sadler who says he will reference in his column tomorrow and try to get reaction from AP. Sent versions to councillor a Brown, Brady and Geraghty. I'd encourage anyone with concerns to email Smailes at j.smailes@mailnewsmedia.co.uk
Hi Martyn
This isn't for the mailbag, but I'd like to share some concerns FC fans have about our tenancy at the KC stadium.
As you may be aware, the management of the KC is the remit of a company called Superstadium Management Company Limited, set up to run this superb facility gifted to the city by the council 10 years ago using a windfall from the sale of Kingston Communications. The SMC has the head lease with the council. Broadly this arrangement has worked well so far, with both sub-tenants, Hull City AFC and Hull FC co-habiting amicably.
However, since Assem Allam took over Hull City in December 2010, and at the same time took over the SMC, things have soured. Allam has been vocal in his desire to obtain the freehold of the KC and develop the ground and surrounding area for commercial purposes. Initially he claimed it would be a Sporting Village for the city, but subsequent versions of the aims of the project included a supermarket and shops. There have been a couple of farcical meetings between Allam and the council, where reportedly his offer price for the KC was derisory, but there is little appetite by the council to sell. There are many covenants on the surrounding West Park, library and a royal charter protecting Walton Street for the historic fairground. Allam has reacted indignantly to this, and more than once threatened to up sticks to Melton in the East Riding.
In the meantime, Adam Pearson was dismissed by the Allams from his position at Hull City, and relationships have become increasingly strained. As FC fans we believe deliberate attempts are bring made to cause the club unfair financial hardship and alienate us from what should be our home.
Financially, we are hearing of unfair rental increases. Charges by the SMC to administer season ticketing has led to FC's passes being processed by FC's own shop staff. We understand charges running into thousands of pounds are being levied just for photographs of our players to be displayed in the reception and function rooms. The club's insignia has been removed from display. This week new halfback Daniel Holdsworth arrived at the KC to request a 15 minute place-kicking practice session. He was denied entry to the ground. And finally, photographs of Johnny Whiteley, freeman of the city, have been completely removed from The Johnny Whiteley Suite.
Clearly the fact the SMC and Hull City have the same owners represents a huge conflict of interest to the extent that the SMC accounts reference the fact that it is a going concern only due to the support of related companies Allamhouse Limited and Hull City. We believe, as does a senior council member, that these actions are an attempt to force their hand on the stadium ownership issue. In the short term punitive financial terms could see FC become unviable, in the medium term homeless.
Anything you could do to help us either investigate matters or raise the visibility of our diminishing rights and visible presence in SL's best facility, and one designated for use by both teams, would be greatly appreciated.

| Good letter Mrs B, I was avoiding suggesting what might be the root cause as it's unlikely to attract attention (I believe) if it plays out as an "Allam v Pearson" issue, we want equlity [ias a club [/i and we need it to be ongoing regardless of who is at the helm of Hull FC or, for that matter, the SMC.
I'll send mine to Saddler as well, in fact, it can go in the postbag as far as I am concerned.

good point, maybe they can interview Johnny Whitely in the Johnny Whitely and ask him about the memories the pitcures invoke......, seriously, they could interview him and ask if he's still happy for the SMC to use his name.

| I dont know enough about the SMC situation to pass comment on it. However, what i do know is that Johnny Whiteley is one of the greatest sportsmen this city has ever produced, a great ambassador and absolute gentleman. To treat him in this manner is plain wrong.

| Perhaps we could collate a poster, of these and other facts about the Allam’s that paint a true picture, and have them displayed around the City.
Will the real Mr Assem Allam, please stand up:

| According to Humberside they've asked the Allams for a statement and they've spoken to Ehab Allam who said they will speak to them on the Oval Ball after todays game. This could be interesting.

Ehab Allam says #HullFC able to put any pictures up in KC Stadium they wish, but both they and #HCAFC have to pay to do so.

| According to Smailesy and his tweets on the Allams. It sounds like our club have refused to pay to have the photo's kept up, hence them "disappearing".
I don't agree with having to pay for them to be displayed. In fact fact I find it disgusting. We pay our way, we pay the largest rental fee on any stadium out of all of the Super League clubs and it's suppose to be a community stadium.
Sounds like the Allams are just playing games. Apparently Nick Thompson (Hull City's Chairman) is due to come on, on the Oval Ball at 5pm. My question is, what the hell has it got to do with Hull City is beyond me. This should be a decision made between the club and the SMC.

Figured that would be the excuse.
So basically the Allams pay the Allams to put pictures up and then use that as a phoney reason to charge FC for the privilege. It stinks, but I suspect there will be little that can be done about it other than hope that public pressure forces second thoughts about the Whiteley Suite at least.

| APPARENTLY the flags have been reinstated before todays game.
Allam paying Allam is just a con, designed to make the SMC look unviable without City, it's sharp practice at best, and fraud at worst.
I am pretty sure we haven't heard the end of this, in fact, I am certain!
