They had not won anything though had they? and 80 minutes away from O/T does not make you a good team hence why they dispensed with Noble.
They appointed Maguire and guess what? they won the league and are now favourites to reach O/T.

We would've been forth but for a hasty decision by a ref. that given our injury situation throughout the year, yes it is a factor, we have probably over achieved. No grumbles from me, we have done well. Leed's league position flatters them greatly and they have over achieved given their weekly form.

If evidence were needed as to Agar's real ability to motivate a team to produce a performance when it really mattered tonight was it. He's not good enough by a long chalk. We are wasting season after season with him at the helm.

Not a knee jerk reaction, I can accept losing but we went out with a whimper. Our attacking play tonight has probably been filmed as it will be the best cure for insomnia that I have seen.
At the end of the day there can't be many players left in the squad that Agar has not as head coach either signed or re-signed so the 'it's not his team' excuse cannot be wheeled out again. St Helens game at home aside he seems incapable of changing a game once we fall behind.
So although he seems a nice guy, for me it should be  Mr Agar |
