Seymour might have been a bit disappointing the last couple of games, but so have many others, he is still the best halfback at the club though.

If we had someone better then I would have no problem dropping him, but we haven't so it seems a strange decision, unless he has been dropped for no rugby reasons.

We have no chance of signing Dobson, same with Brough, there are the main two players at our rivals.

Surely Gaskell, Burrow and Myler don't meet Pearson's "statement of intent" on signing a 6 and 7, whilst Eastmond would be a huge risk for these crucial positions.

I just hope we get Chase as don't see many alternatives. Holdsworth would certainly enhance the team, but Chase is the one attainable player that could transform it. Since Cooke left we have had a chronic problem of getting over the line when in the opposition's 20, which has not been solved by a change of coach. Chase is THE man to cure this, sure the team has other deficiencies, but pressure into points is the key one.

Brett Finch still hasn't announced a club for 2013 maybe he has agreed a deal with us?

Jamie Soward is another who hasn't signed a deal for 2013 and was touted to British clubs earlier this year. Could either 1 of these 2 be the half backs we are after?

Gaskell from Saints is another I think Pearson and Gentle will be looking at. Fits in with the young British and international (knights) that was mentioned earlier in the week.
