Very very smart move from the club I feel. Pritchard and Manu obviously extremely grateful that we've allowed this to happen, what better way to get our club name out there to the NRL. They say word of mouth is the best form of marketing and it's only going to benefit us in the long term in terms of a club that takes care of it's players and the duo are (hopefully) only going to have positive words to say about FC as a whole.

I'd take a bandaged knee over the dude on the bottom left corner of that vid.
Also, if you'd ever seen Rich Horne pre and post game without his shirt on, the amount of strapping he had makes Pritchards knee looks like it got a Mr bump plaster on it in comparis  on.

Radio Merseyside were very complimentary to us in their preview last night regarding our actions here. Ray French particularly. They would be pleased though wouldnt they!
Personally, I cant help but think of our 2005 run and the way Kearney (who I see as a similar profile to Pritchard) almost single handedly pulled us through a couple of those early tight games.

I'm pretending they're injured and going to miss one game. We'll have to play without them sooner or later. Just pleased Ellis is back, he seems to make the most difference when he's missing. Pleased Mini is back too. Hope they enjoy the break and come back safe and sound. |
