We need to sign a scrum half, and see how Reardon goes, and if he keeps fit and out of prison, keep him at full back.'"
Ditto, although regardless of what happens with Reardon. I don't think he should be retained if we have the chance to sign a world class fb ie Hunt.

| Bennett maintained that Berro was an excellent stand-off and an International Centre. He didn't rate him at hooker and to quote the man himself "he can be figured out"

| horne is a better support player than an attacking one so naturally he would be better at fullback.

Berro to centre, then, Houghton & Lee to share the hooking role.

So why did Bennett play him at 9 then for so long?

He was too good to not be accommodated somewhere, i guess. It's a Bennett quote, that's all - not my opinion.
And perhaps it may have been relevant in the NRL, but it certainly isn't in SL.

He didn't.
After Lockyer was moved to stand-off to accommodate Hunt & they'd re-signed Hodges Bennett was running out of places to play him. He was moved to hooker in an emergency & did a decent job.
He's not a natural hooker, just talented enough to be capable of playing in several positions. He just happened to be playing hooker when Hull signed him.

He is mate, but he'd be one of the best centres or stand-offs if he was playing there as well. He’s just a good player.
I just think given Hulls very one dimensional game & the lack of creativity coming from mid-field he'd be more use away from the ruck.
Not sure Agar & Sharp are capable of much lateral thinking though.

But if he was put to centre he wouldn't be used properlly and if he played 6 he wouldn't be much use either as all they seem to do is a drop off back in to the middle of the field or a wedge, thats it.
Imo he shouldn't be moved away from 9 whatso ever. Regardless of what team he played for.

Josh Dugan has just burst onto the scene in the NRL with Canberra is only 19.'"
He's been playing well in the NRL , They were certainly bigging him up on Fox. I also think Terry Campese is looking a great player too . Move Horne to 7 and Campese at 6. Horne can still play his natural supportive running game ,While Campese runs the show.
