After Lockyer was moved to stand-off to accommodate Hunt & they'd re-signed Hodges Bennett was running out of places to play him. He was moved to hooker in an emergency & did a decent job.

He's not a natural hooker, just talented enough to be capable of playing in several positions. He just happened to be playing hooker when Hull signed him.

yet he's one of the best around.

He is mate, but he'd be one of the best centres or stand-offs if he was playing there as well. He’s just a good player.

I just think given Hulls very one dimensional game & the lack of creativity coming from mid-field he'd be more use away from the ruck.

Not sure Agar & Sharp are capable of much lateral thinking though.

But if he was put to centre he wouldn't be used properlly and if he played 6 he wouldn't be much use either as all they seem to do is a drop off back in to the middle of the field or a wedge, thats it.

Imo he shouldn't be moved away from 9 whatso ever. Regardless of what team he played for.

He's been playing well in the NRL , They were certainly bigging him up on Fox. I also think Terry Campese is looking a great player too . Move Horne to 7 and Campese at 6. Horne can still play his natural supportive running game ,While Campese runs the show.

I'd be stunned if Campese doesnt start at 6 for NSW in this Origin series.
