They've never been much fussed about income, so long as it isn't costing any more than the original outlay.
Did Pearson not once say that he lost a chunk of money on one of the concerts?
Plus, much as they want to placate Hull fans, they'll also want to avoid aggravating city fans. Getting a picture of JW put back up should be a gimme - anything beyond that the ground gets a bit shakier. |

I think he said the Elton John one was a bit worrying due to reasons he didnt elaborate on.

| So if it is only going to cost £500 to have our history displayed at the KC , why dont we show the carpet seller what a loyal set of fans we are and pay for it ourselves ???
Im thinking put a couple of collection tins at the club shops and we chip in on match days ?
10p per person would soon cover this and then we can all move on and live happily ever after !!!  |

My concern is that Allam is going to go public in the mail & a lot of people may believe his spiel unless some-one from FC puts their side of the story across...It appears he is playing the divide & conquer game, he has been giving sweetners to a lot of other sports in the city & they think this man is great, FC have to defend their position without breaking any clauses if they can.

Not every sports club has a positive experience. Ask Hull Ionians - the generous gift to them was attached to a request for the deeds to Brantingham Park - which I believe was declined. |

So that's Ionians. Us. Hull Wasps basketball? Hockey club? If none of us have come out of "negotiations" well, why is this side of the story not being reported? I'd say I'd hope for some balance in the HDM tomorrow, but their journalism usually extends to running spellchecker on printing verbatim what's been said without challenge. |
