Went to watch the Wire @ Cas today and Rangi Chase was the clear difference in the 2nd half. We were 34 - 0 up and then Rangi just seemed to switch on. From that point Cas scored 26 unanswered points and nearly won the game.

Must say I wondered about Dobson when Pearson said they had identified 4 top class half backs.

Who are these people? Top class half backs are not exactly abundant. Plus Finch/Leuluai returning to Oz, Briers at end of career, Mcguire/Sinfield very unlikely and at back end of career.

Who does it leave?

1. Chase
2. Holdsworth
3. Brough
4. Dureau
5. Dobson

Even then some people say Brough is no-go, and Dureau would surely not be attainable. Doesn't leave many people left unless we want to sign half backs who wouldn't really be much better than Seymour and Horne.

Having said that I'd assumed Rovers would rather go bankrupt than sell us Dobson!
