| Quote UllFC="UllFC"I have supported the club when it has been bad through being penniless, I have stayed loyal through the last few years of 'wait til next year, it'll be better' but the point comes when you wonder why you are voluntarily giving an incompetent organisation hundreds of pounds a year to be repeatedly disappointed and for me that time has now come, and I suspect I won't be the only one.'"
Your choice - no problem with it. As I've always said there's always been fans who move away when things are difficult (although they've been far, far more difficult than this over the years). They tend to come back when success returns (i.e. finals etc.). There are others who buy passes come what may. Ultimately it's those fans who keep the club afloat with their money - if everyone walked away then by definition there wouldn't be a club to come back to in the good times. Pearson has said as much in his appeal for fans but like I say it's always been like that sine 1972 at least when I started watching.
Enjoy your time away - like you say you won't be the only one. When success returns remember those who stuck with it. Not because they're better than you or anyone else but because they kept the club afloat when others went elsewhere. Always been like that and always will be.

| Quote UllFC="UllFC"Picking and choosing my games next season, with crowds dwindling at the KC its pretty easy to walk up on game day and get even halfway line in the East stand, so thats one pass benefit gone. Throw in to the mix that you could be paying Superleague money to watch Championship opposition for the last 3/4 home games and thats me not buying a pass for the first time since the 90s. Sad times, but I have to draw a line somewhere.'"
Of course, the best thing to do when your club is struggling is to give it a further kick in the nads.

It pains me to starve the club of my cash, but at the same time I hope its a wakeup call for the club to stop making such stupid decisions and sort itself out. Hiring a competent, experienced coach being the first thing to put right on quite an extensive list of issues.

I see this accusation from time to time. Could you list the players that are his mates and who should be played ahead of them?

I think hiring a competent experienced coach would solve most of the issues .

I completely understand your frustrations, I imagine that there's not one person who frequents this site who's happy with the current situation, there can't be.
What I struggle to understand is that you think it may in some roundabout way benefit the club by not getting a pass?
As Staffs said, you're not alone in your way of thinking, but the combined loss of revenue to the club through people taking this opinion, in a sport where attracting new fans with limited resources has proven difficult as it is, cannot help matters surely?

I've never understood the logic of starving an organisation of the funding it needs to succeed in the belief that it will somehow lead to success. It's far more likely to lead to further failure, decline, and eventual extinction.
When it's some anonymous supplier of goods and/or services with multiple alternatives you could make a case that it won't really matter. If that company goes out of business there's always somewhere else to go. The same is not true for sports clubs.

See Bradford for details. If people can quote examples of falling customer numbers and income streams resulting in market-leading performance, I think it would be worth discussing on here.

There's lots of classic business case examples which show a failing product being replaced due to popular demand. The most famous of which being the new coke saga in the (70s or 80s I always forget which) - it was so successful people still swear it was the plan all along to have a couple of months of dire sales for the long term effects...
