Had a few good nights in Kestrel - no beer on sale so you had to arrive inebriated, then to finish off the night a few very late drinks in Gothenberg Coffee Club.
Now it's Tower for an hour, snog a dog, back to the '90's

Dont forget Teddys for beddys as well.Remember going in tower 1 night and was gutted i got in...was 18 and it was over 21s night. |

Once went to Spiders with a chap I worked with. He wasn't planning to go to a club, but was dressed in trousers and shirt. Anyway, we got to the front of the queue.
"If you come again," said the bouncer, "if you could wear jeans that'd be great."
"Wasn't planning on coming here originally" says my mate.
"That's fine. But if you could wear jeans."
He spent the night feeling a bit overdressed, and to this day it's probably the only time he's ever nearly been refused entry for being overdressed. |

You're all wrong. When it opened it was called Studio Circus. "The lights, the sound, the new name in town."
It wasn't really very good. Too small for it's sound system, in my opinion. |

I don't think I'm that old but I remember those days, jeez you even had to have your shoes polished too. I remember my mate having a very trendy pair of suede shoes and they refused him entry because they didnt look dressy enough. |
