To be fair, there's lichen growing on Martian rocks that realise how crap England are.

Yes. You are friends with Craig Hall, aren't you?
Thinly veiled threats don't make you any more literate, I'm afraid.
Right. So if the coaches keep him, that proves he's good enough, but if they get rid, it doesn't prove he's not good enough. Gotcha.
Boyo? Are they Welsh? You must have a pretty small family if they all play Super League. I can't think of more than two or three players who are related in the whole competition.
We? So you play SL as well?'"
3 matey thank you and all of us would eat you for breakfast,,scrap that to be honest we would'nt even waste our time on a no mark and you can quote me on that

Are you Lee Briers, brother in law of Craig Hall?

So you have played SL personally? And two of your family? And this proves what, exactly? That your opinion is automatically more valuable than that of a person who has not?
By the way, your perceived ability to defeat me in a fight does not make your comments on here any more valid. It would be more impressive if you chose to back up your arguments with some sort of reasoned debate rather than resorting to pathetic 'I could beat you up if I wanted' comments.

3 members of the same family all playing SL, must be a pretty short list.
one of the Burgess clan perhaps? (giving benefit of the doubt to not all necessarily playing now)

Is one of them big and called Chris? Or is the username cleverly designed to throw us off the scent?

No, just Hall as usual. Even when he scored the winner.
Oh - and developing a new standard by which to judge the worth of our players. Apparently.

I don't see anyone making comments that are untrue.

Which other way do you suggest?

It disappoints me when you resort to stuff like this. You're better than that. I've not been 'slagging' Hall, merely stating my belief that he's not cut out for this level of rugby. If that's 'slagging' someone in your eyes, you must be very sensitive. In my eyes, it's quite a reasonable opinion, expressed in a measured way.
Quote: Kosh "Oh - and developing a new standard by which to judge the worth of our players. Apparently.'"
It's hardly a 'new standard', is it? I'm sure such comparisons have been made in the past. If a player becomes available and none of the top clubs want to sign him, it's a useful indicator that he's not cut out for playing for a top club. It's perfectly reasonable to question whether (for example) Leeds would consider replacing a retiring Keith Senior with Craig Hall. Or whether if Chris Bridge left Wire they would bring Hall in as his replacement.

I can't be bothered to read the whole thread, it's often a bit dull on here these days, same thing every week.
On Hall he did really well to support the man who made the break considering he had not been on that long so good on him. However he has still been poor this season in the main and still switches off mentally too often. I have mxied feelings on him coming and going but he has not delivered like he should have done by now. Still at the right prices worth sticking with I reckon.
People often mention the Cullen/Widnes thing but imo that was fairly simply to workout, he was playing championship rugby so of course he performed better and felt more confident, had little to do with Cullen imo. Maybe Hall had found his level?
Right now we have two good centres in Turner/Yeaman and good backups in Whiting and Hall.
