Taking everything else to one side though, the fact remains that Johnny Whiteleys photos should be re-instated immediately and free of charge. He should not have been a casualty in this episode.'"
I'm interested, how do you and pony685 work that out?

Great. I guess the break clause wasn't used then. Is this 2017 thing thats mentioned the same?

Don't know. The break clause read to me like it was the council office bit only, could be wrong, but they did vacate in 2012.

The 2012 break clause was for the council offices they no longer have.

| Ok question.
So far he's played everything pretty clever in a way, surely if he has come out in the press and broken confidentiality clauses he has to have a reason to have done so ??

He can't take the shop and offices away, but he can charge pretty much whatever he likes to rent them to us.

Unless he goes into details about the lease I can't see what confidentiality clause he's broken. And that's assuming the clause doesn't only cover the tenants (us and City).

Mr Allam uses an emotive subject in order to draw criticism which then gives him a platform in order to get across (what he sees as) the bigger picture. The end target for him is clearly to get more money out of Hull FC and gain ownership of the Stadium.

| Quote: Kosh "Allam can make it financially impossible for us to stay at the KC. There's enough wriggle-room in the lease agreement for him to do this. We have the right to play there and that's about it.
You'll have noticed that he's about to launch a £500,000 claim against the council. That may not sound like much but it's an indication of the way this is going right now.'"
When the SMC were making a profit the council received a nominal amount, it now seems that Mr Allam is asking the council to contribute to the losses. Would think that before the council hand over any money (very, very unlikely) a full audit of the books will be made. This man is very dangerous but one thing he isn't and that is bigger than our City.

The way it has been explained to me is that they are included with usuing the pitch and stadim on game day in what we get for our annual payment which is index linked and the 50% of gate receipts we give after 7200 people are in the Stadium.

| Quote: Chris28 "I've probably missed it, but what is the relationship between the Council and SMC?
Is the SMC in place to run the stadium for the council, like a letting agent? Or is there more to it? Seems odd that the council aren't slapping the SMC down for not managing the stadium fairly, or generating serious income. Why no concerts? Why no big events?
I am perplexed tbh.'"
They've never been much fussed about income, so long as it isn't costing any more than the original outlay.
Did Pearson not once say that he lost a chunk of money on one of the concerts?
Plus, much as they want to placate Hull fans, they'll also want to avoid aggravating city fans. Getting a picture of JW put back up should be a gimme - anything beyond that the ground gets a bit shakier.

I think he said the Elton John one was a bit worrying due to reasons he didnt elaborate on.
Can't see the Who making a profit given it was 2/3 empty.
