Well i'm at Heathrow about to fly out of the UK for 3 weeks going to a country with very tight control over their internet. I'm praying that when i return to the UK it's to celebrations of another 2 defeats and the dismissal of Agar!! (i know it's wrong to wish your team lose but i feel it's the only way to get the right coach)

I agree with that, let us be honest when it comes to wishing that on our own team it is sad time 'eh Dave 
But if it is the only way well so be it. |

The only nervousness i've got is that our board have a proven track record of taking the cheap option when replacing coaches. We're liable to dismiss Agar and bring in Jimmy Lowes or someone like that. We don't need a new coach that wants to develop into the role, that time has passed. We now need a proven successful NRL 1st grade coach who demands respect. Time to spend big on a coach.

Agreed, all we can do is 
What gets me is we have a decent squad, a great stadium and fan base, we could easily be one of the biggest clubs in SL if they just invested in a good coach, it is so frustrating. |

Nothing will change even if Agar goes Because IF its webster or jimmy Lowes in charge, the fans will be back to square one, "lets give him time to bed in ,its not his team" etc,etc.........

That's a concern of mine too but some of the discussion on here about the idea of McNamara getting the job was quite reassuring. I think another weak appointment would be the final straw for a lot of fans, even those who have had saint-like patience with Agar.
Oh, and if Jimmy Lowes ever comes anywhere near to being appointed FC head coach then I'm buying a Rovers season pass. |

That doesn't always work - we went that route with both Millward & Noble (OK not NRL but good SL pedigree); back-to-back disasters. You might be better looking for a good Aussie assistant coach who's trained under one of the greats - as we did with Maguire. |

agree with you on this one mate, personally (although he would be an improvement) i dont want Noble to take over, neither millward, as you say we should be looking at a young aussie assistant coach, fresh ideas, different work ethics, its done your team wonders, how i would for a maguire type to take over the realm!! we live in hope |
