It looks like you have edited your original post? Anyway you have just said again 2-3 games yet Agar is saying that both he and Horne are 50/50 for Sunday. Time will tell I guess.

I think you'll find I haven't touched my original post and you have obviously got me mixed up with someone who stated hamstring injuries can be 4-6 weeks. Look, I was told first hand by a very reliable source (couldn't get much more reliable in fact) that he will be out for the next three games. I'm only passing on the information, as the old saying goes "don't shoot the messenger". As my previous posts testify, I don't come on here and make up lies.

I must be mistaken. Not saying you are trolling or making things up, like I said only time will tell. I don't expect him to play this weekend but after that who knows.

| Well if both Long and Horne are out, we might need to make major changes to the backs line to cover. With Tansey being the replacement 7 and Washbrook coming in at 6, we'd then have to move Whiting to 1 as our cover FB, leaving the centre spot open. We could either put Turner there, move Hall there and Calderwood on the wing, or drop Hall altogether and bring both in (which would be a bit harsh IMO).
I'd go for:
1. Whiting
2. Calderwood
3. Hall
4. Yeaman
5. Briscoe
6. Washbrook
7. Tansey

I would personally bring Washy & Turner straight in to the H/Bask roles and leave Tansey where he is. I do not see the point of so much movement when players are developing and gelling in their roles

I understand what you've done there but that's 5 changes to cover 2 positions. Now to me that's a lot of disruption to a back division which may ultimatelly cause more problems than it solves.

| i'd go for...
1. craig hall or rich whiting
6. washbrook or turner
7. tansey
9. berro
i think out of the whole squad, either tansey or berro would settle into scrum-half the easiest

| With Calderwood coming back, we're going to be making at least 3 changes I'd guess anyway (if the two mentioned are injured). With Turner and Washy at halfback, there isn't really much creativity IMO. But like said, it's 5 changes (but with only two new players).
We need to be getting Calderwood back on the wing though, that I'm certain. Hall has done well, but he is a centre, not a winger.

I take it you missed his performances there last season. Took him and us 6 months to recover.

Yep it has but he aint played at Full back again, if we moved him there it could happen again at present he has confidence back playing in the centre and on the wing! keep him there. To big a risk to move him IMHO particulaly when you have Whiting available if we need a replacement full back!!

I'm a huge fan of Hall, but I wouldn't put him back in a position that destroyed his confidence last season.
If Calders is fit then put him back in on the wing and drop Hall into Centre. That frees up Whiting to cover 6/7 with Washy in to cover the other HB slot. Minimum disruption and a halfback pairing that may not be optimal but should be OK with Berro operating at 9 and Tansey at FB.

Agreed. Less disruption to the team as possible.
