I thought he was very average against Salford and god knows why so many on here and on Sky gave him MOTM



He scored one try but gave away another and his kick returns was shocking, made virtually zero yardage.

Fair enough it's all new to him but it does not convince me he should be playing there often.

Safe yes. His returns were shocking, no pace and too slow at turning, I was surprised at how poor he was in that department.

I wasn't. It was similar to the last time we dropped him in at FB due to injury.

He hasn't played there for years, and had to step in because Hall kept losing possession. I'm pretty sure he was focusing completely on safety first rather than attack.

Otherwise I thought he pretty much played his usual game in attack and improved over recent weeks.

Agree, Thats why I don't understand why people on here wanted him at fb. When he has played there in the past, he has never made me feel as though he could be one of the best in the league. I think he proved me right the other night.

Proved you right but not the people that awarded him the man of the match award. Give him time there and eventually he'll score some long range tries. We definitely need an extra ball player in the line and Horne playing at fullback offers us this in attack. It also gives us great scope in recruitment to sign either a top organizational scrum half or stand off. When he threw the interception he was positionally in the stand off's roll so playing fullback did not effect it.

That's the one thing in his favour, its his first time there for a while and he can only get better. He needs to be less dithery when he claims a kick and run he ball back with better speed.
