| Lewis is one of those players opposition fans love to hate. He's a wind up merchant and full of niggle.
He gave away a few daft pens. He needs to work on his defence too, but it was a good debut.
I'll support him in the England shirt but I'll go back to booing him in Feb

As it should be. I don't like it when fans take their club allegiances into the national team.

| The petulance etc is what's needed players like that make the game
If every player was a "good boy" like Danny Houghton or Joe cator the game would be pretty dull in the grand schemes ( every sport needs like tompkins, connor, Bailey ) type players in it who get under skin
The sport needs biff back aswell its rugby league not netball

I think it is a bit over the top, he had a good game and is a decent player, but failed to perform in Rovers two biggest games this.

No, because he’s massively overrated and overhyped

| Don't think there is any doubting Lewis is a good player, particularly his running game, a tricky player to stop once he gets going.
Whilst it is nice to see young lad show genuine emotion in interviews and appear visibly caught up in the moment, I do feel that this is where his issue actually lies. He is certainly a player whose emotions can get the better of them, as seen in the cup final and most recently in the play offs. However, he is young and has time on his side to mature and learn.
Realistically he wouldn't be in the 17 if Williams wasn't banned and equally will probably be replaced once WIlliams can return, however he is taking his chance at the moment and that can't be faulted.

| Some might slate me for saying this but I do think when fully fit Trueman is a better player than Lewis. Has a running game himself, but also a much better passing game and a better kicking game. Trueman's support play is very good. Also defensively better than Lewis. Just all round a more consistent player. Jake is a couple of years older though and more experienced so at this stage of their careers I would expect Jake to be ahead.
Think yesterday showed Lewis down to a tee in 1 game. First half he played really well and then 2nd half just went missing. Should have built on the good work he did first half but he never did.
Lewis is very good at what he does, which is running the ball. Other than that he doesn't have much to his game. When Abdull was injured earlier in the season he just looked lost. No idea how to control a game. But that's why he played well yesterday, as he had Smith alongside him to do that, and Welsby there as a link up man, gave Lewis all the freedom to just run with the ball.

| With Abdul and May as pivots Lewis may be playing FB next season.
Rovers have plenty of options in their backs with Hiki and Evalds able to play there as well.

With Newcastle thunder unlikely to compete next year, should we be looking at alternative venue for magic? As it won't really serve a purpose of growing the game in the north east anymore, will just be a pi$$ up weekend

Surely people don’t go to watch the rugby, do they?

| IMG grades tomorrow, I wonder if a Grade B licence would be better than a A, feel like the club would gives themselves a pat on the back, rather than improve on the pitch to get an A licence

Yorkshire Evening Post predicting that only Leeds, Saints, Warrington and Wigan will get Grade As.
