I think they're saying that Galea is still on the quota until he gets his Maltese passport I think, so until he gets it Mason can't come, but it's sorted now and Mason will be here 2nd week in January and is currently holidaying in Tonga. |

It wouldn't. If he uses his Aussie passport (assuming he has one) he gets points for speaking English automatically. If he uses a Tongan one, he has to take a test to prove he can speak English, same as Lauaki last year. Not sure why he would choose the Tonga route. Especially as visas from there are dealt with in Fiji, and you can't apply online.... |

Is it just players that it affects or coaches too? If so, we've played a blinder extending Agar's deal.  Overseas coaches if their deals are structured in this way will be requiring big pay rises to stand still in net pay terms. We don't have that issue with Agar. Continuity and cheap options rule
