| Good performance today, see how we go without sneyd. Looked more than 13500 to me, especially when City announce 16k and there is nowhere near as many there as there was today

Discipline wise I didn't think we did an awful lot different to most weeks tbh. The biggest difference was the refs approach to the game. He kept the whistle out of his mouth when a lot would have blown for fairly pedantic penalties.
Hewer had a similar approach to the cup final and it definitely makes for a better game.

Apparently he is very proud of the performance. It was more of a Cas performance than some of their recent ones. I assume he hasn't seen the missed tackle or error counts. Both of which were astronomical.

| Best we have played this season, controlled the game apart from a 20 minute spell, where Cas chances here arm, but our scrambling defence saved us a few times. Defence and discipline much better, Conor was great, Taylor and Griffin also, to be honest thought they all where.
Disappointed in Powell and his comments, all the Cas fans reaction when Sneyd went off injured, absolutely no class, compare that to Watts, who got a few boos, but plenty were clapping him off.
Great day, well done to the club, hopefully the start of more Saturday games.

| Castleford boss Daryl Powell:
"The first half was interesting. (We're) going back to needing a video ref at every game. It's an absolute shambles, players running outside the shoulder line, nothing gets picked up.
"So we have to go back to blokes diving on the floor to show referees who don't know what they are looking for what to look for. I can't believe some of the lines that were run today that weren't picked up."
Anybody got any idea what he is whinging about as I am a bit confused?

Only one I can think of is maybe Shauls try where there may have been an instruction as the Cas players did go upto the ref

Ah fair enough, I missed most of that one as some bloke on his way to the concourse decided to stop and watch play right in front of me.
The way he talks though you'd think there was obstruction on every play.

| What injury has Sneyd picked up? Couldn’t make it due to work and haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere.
Any other injuries picked up too?

I'd guess she wants a three course meal and not your little snack offering Tony.

Medial collateral ligament according to BBC match report.
Don't know how serious though.

MCL, some have suggested 4 weeks?
Didn't notice any others, and on Kelly Paul Clarke said in the HDM "Meanwhile, the half-back is currently out injured due to a hamstring problem but the issue isn't thought to be long-term."

Did he whinge about their first try when it looked like they had 3 or 4 players offside at the kick?

sneyd tweeted that he hope to be back sooner rather than later so hopefully not too bad.
We can't take fev for granted but I wouldn't be risking kelly unless he's near 100% Last thing we need now is to lose him for weeks as well as sneyd.
I'm also less convinced about a kelly and connor HB partnership than I would be sneyd with either of them. We really had little organisation last week or the 2nd half yesterday

Radford said post match we're definitely not taking Fev lightly so will be taking a strong squad. Imagine it will have to be Connor and Westerman in the halves though with Kelly, Sneyd and Abdull all missing.
