By all counts he ^^^ is ripping it up in training for Wigan. Be interesting how he goes. Either be playing for the reserves or making Agar look stupid.

Amazing how many players are ripping it up in training according to sources, nobody ever seems to be swinging it!!

Every single season you hear about players ripping it up in pre season training, Im not one for all the hype(well unless he plays for us that is lol)but seeing how he gets on is going to be interesting. Looked nothing short of s***e when playing for you guys, so its hard to know how Wane is going to get any more out of him(apparently Wane is a big admirer of him). He will be playing with better players and that does have effect on your own performance. On his form he showed for you guys, your certainly not going to miss him!

The only thing to say in Lauaki's defence is that he did show good hands on occasion and made more than 100 tacklebusts in 2 and a (very small) bit seasons. Used in a way more suited to his style in a team that actually utilises support players, should be more effective. On the downside, he'll be playing more minutes with reduced interchanges, and his suspect defence and unwillingness to put his shoulder in could be exposed.

I agree....I think I am the only FC supporter who was sorry to see him go, used in the correct way I think he could be awesome. I think he will surprise a few next season at Wigan, Agar did not have a clue how to use him

IF he "wants" it then he can be good in attack.

Remember seeing his first game away at saints, played in the right second row channel. Looked an animal that night.

How did you manage to see him.?

Lauaki showed glimpses of class, but all too often was anonymous or gave away silly penalties. However, if we had still had him I would think that we would have a stronger 2nd row. Manu, Tickle, Westy, Lauaki sounds stronger than Manu, Tickle, Westy, Aspinwall/Burnett, etc.

I was too. Expecting big things from him this season.
