Sounds to me like we are targetting a centre/winger. We still lack a prop though and Washy will be the backrow cover it would seem.

Will be interesting to see if he's going to be cover for injuries, or our bench 2nd rower. If we're keeping him and prioritising centre/prop/winger, there isn't anyone in the current squad who jumps out for that spot.

But the fact he picked out Washbrook for a mention when he's out of contract could have meaning. Why else would he mention him unless he expects him to still be here?

Quite possibly. I still just think the same about Sharp, and find it very harsh on him that we seem to be looking to replace him already. If we got the right centre it would do him the world of good, so I just personally see a new winger as less necessary than a new backrower.

Agree with you both here, prop and centre should be our priorities followed by back rower and then, finally, wing.
